Released:2023-02-13

As the pandemic recedes and spring arrives, the world is reborn, rejuvenated, and filled with new possibilities. On February 8 and 9, 2023, CR Capital Management held the first training session of the Golden Bamboo Program, a mid-level leadership enhancement program, at the Conference Center of the China Resources Tower. All of our departmental and organizational leaders, as well as the heads of our funds, participated in the training. Our CEO and General Manager, Carl Qin, and Vice President and Chief Talent Officer, Nie Rong, were present at the training session to offer their expertise and guidance.

Carl delivered a compelling opening speech, setting the tone for the entire Golden Bamboo Program. He highlighted the pivotal position of mid-level managers in the organizational structure of our company. As the vital link between decision makers and those who implement decisions, mid-level managers play an indispensable role in driving sustainable and robust growth for our company. Carl hoped that all trainees could fully understand the necessity and importance of the Golden Bamboo Program. During the training period, the participants were expected to put aside other daily affairs and devote themselves wholeheartedly to training, learning, and improving their abilities. Carl stressed that mid-level managers should execute our company's strategies and make tactical decisions, while proactively promoting a positive image of our company to the public. A successful mid-level manager must possess unwavering faith in their organization's values and principles. With excellent leadership skills, they should be able to quickly grasp and execute instructions from upper-level management. They must also perform their advisory role effectively, supporting leaders in making informed decisions. Moreover, an excellent mid-level manager should be a role model for their subordinates. They must be open-minded, compassionate, and able to identify and train talented employees to build a strong talent pool. When dealing with external parties, they should be able to think from others' perspectives and establish productive communication channels and coordination mechanisms to foster mutually beneficial relationships and outcomes.

During the training session, Nie Rong elaborated on our talent development plan and training system for the 14th Five-Year Plan and outlined the learning requirements and expectations for the trainees. The aim of this training program, as she articulated, was to help mid-level managers solidify their theoretical foundation in management and master classical management tools so that they could apply what they have learned in their daily work.

Liang Pingping, Professional Director of the Human Resources Department at China Resources Group, gave a lecture on the essential aspects of daily supervision and management of managers, including the selection and appointment processes. Through her lecture, the participants gained a deeper understanding of the rules and regulations for manager management while developing a stronger sense of self-discipline and personal accountability.

Ms. Cai, a leadership development specialist, organized a management practice workshop that covered role understanding, performance management, and time management. Through vivid explanations and hands-on coaching, she emphasized the essential abilities and qualities that mid-level managers must have. She utilized an immersive live-action role-playing experience to enhance the participants' understanding of her lecture essentials.

In a brief summary, Nie Rong gave high praise to the effectiveness of this training program and applauded the trainees for their wholehearted participation and lively exchanges during the training. She highlighted the significance of mid-level managers' dedication to learning and practicing to achieve scientific management. The art of management is also of great importance. Mid-level managers should adopt appropriate working styles and methods and continuously improve their knowledge and abilities while conducting management practices. Last but not least, Ms. Nie encouraged mid-level managers to keep improving their skills and embrace the challenge of nurturing their subordinates and building strong teams to achieve excellence together.

This training program was the first offline training conducted by CR Capital Management following the release of the ten new regulations on pandemic control and prevention. During the two-day training, our mid-level managers studied together and enhanced their management knowledge. Moreover, by sharing personal life experiences and work-related insights, they strengthened their bonds as colleagues, forming a powerful force for development.
