Cultural Element: Bamboo
In late 2019, CR Capital determined to take “bamboo” as the cultural element of the brand. As a notable symbol of great virtues of the Chinese people, bamboo is evergreen and exceptionally robust. It embodies the noble characters of moral integrity and modesty, just as the humble nature, unyielding integrity, and continuous self-improvement demonstrated by CR Capital People, and carries the sincere expectation of CR Capital to a more prosperous future.
Mascot: Zhugeliang
In early 2020, the Brand Team completed the design of the image of “Zhugeliang” — and released the first set of “Zhugeliang” stickers for CR Capital (search for “CR Capital” in WeChat's Sticker Gallery for free download).
In early 2024, the branding team unveiled a sophisticated redesign of the iconic "Bamboo Strategist," inspired by the enduring and upright bamboo, with a dominant gold palette reflecting its premium status. The "Bamboo Strategist" proudly displays the China Resources emblem on his chest and sports a headband adorned with the acronym "CRCM" for China Resources Capital Management, merging the resilience of bamboo with the sagacity of the legendary Zhuge Liang. This vibrant mascot embodies the "Spirit of the Bamboo," encapsulating the virtues of strength and intelligence championed by China Resources Capital. Additionally, the launch of the second series of "Bamboo Strategist" themed emojis has been accomplished, now available for complimentary download in the WeChat emoji store under "China Resources Capital Bamboo Strategist."
