Passing on the Torch: CR Capital Management Holds a Youth Day Workshop for Young Employees to Inspire Them Achieve Great Success

To study and fulfill Xi Jinping's Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, CR Capital Management conducted a Youth Day workshop themed "Achieving Great Success and Passing on the Torch" for our young employees on May 4. This workshop also emphasized the significance of implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on youth work. We should strive to improve the moral and spiritual qualities of our young colleagues and inspire and help them to progress and succeed. Our Party Branch Secretary, Carl Qin, who holds part-time positions as Deputy Secretary of the Shenzhen Municipal Party and Youth League Committees, engaged in face-to-face communication with young employee representatives from Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Beijing. Nie Rong, a member of our General Party Branch and Deputy General Manager, and Feng Lin, Secretary of our Youth League Branch and General Counsel, also attended the workshop.


At the workshop, Carl started with a holiday greeting to our young employees. He encouraged them to fulfill their duties and enhance their skills to progress and succeed in our new journey of the new era.

Our young employees from different departments and funds engaged in extensive and insightful exchanges and raised questions on topics such as their learning and work experiences, aspirations, current challenges, industry trends, and significant changes in today's society. Carl answered their questions sincerely based on his growing experience and offered the following words of advice for their development and success:

1. Ambition, integrity, and confidence

Each generation carries its mission and responsibility. Our young employees are pursuing their ambitions at a state-owned enterprise and they must always remain ambitious, righteous, and confident. They are expected to work hard and assume the responsibility of building "Everlasting China Resources" without hesitation. We call on our young colleagues to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the development of our company, the progress of our society, and the prosperity of our country. Let us work together towards a brighter future.

2. Accurate understanding and scientific management of change

Each generation has its confusion and beliefs. The external world that surrounds us is challenging and intricate, and as a result, young people are facing a multitude of pressures and confusion. To achieve advantages, initiative, and success in the future, the younger generation must be able to see through the superficial aspects of things and identify their fundamental nature. To thrive in today's ever-changing world, young people must be able to identify changes and manage them scientifically. In addition, it is important for young people to proactively seek change, seize new opportunities in an uncertain environment, and open up to new horizons amidst transformations.

3. Building a solid foundation, accepting challenges, and embracing a bright future

There is no need to feel anxious about the success of others, as we all have our own unique journey and pace. Many young people experience anxiety, which may be triggered by comparing themselves to people older than them or of a similar age. To combat anxiety, young people should be patient and persistent in their studies and practices so that they can proactively build a solid foundation for their development. Young people should forge ahead in adversity, strengthen their abilities through challenges, and rise above setbacks, thus allowing their youth to shine in the new journey of the new era.

Leveraging insights from the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, CR Capital Management has taken a deep dive into our General Secretary Xi Jinping's influential ideas on youth work, making it our strategic priority. As part of our May Fourth Movement activities under the theme of "Studying the 20th CPC National Congress, Standing Firm with the Party, and Advancing on a New Journey," we carefully planned and carried out multiple events, such as the "Reading Sharing Session for Young Minds," the "Shenzhen Visit Tour," and the "Youth Day Workshop for Young Employees."

As a next step, we will strive to diversify the forms and elements of our youth-focused programs carried out by our Youth League Branch. We will promote the task of improving our young employees' moral and spiritual qualities in all aspects. Our focus remains on empowering our young employees, becoming their confidant and mentor, and providing the support and guidance they need. Through targeted training and mentorship programs, we will strengthen our young employees' skills, unleash their full potential, and cultivate a larger pool of exceptional young talent so that they can fuel the sustainable and sound development of our company.
