On April 19, CR Capital Management held a work exchange meeting on the construction of a research and investment system and the mid-term review of the 14th Five-Year strategy to discuss and improve the review milestones. This meeting also reinforced the principles set out in the Meeting on Strategic Management Functions of China Resources Group. Additionally, the instructions and requirements raised by the China Resources Group leaders on the construction of the research and investment system were emphasized and explained. The meeting was chaired by Tony Zhang, Deputy General Manager and Chief Investment Officer of CR Capital Management. Attendees included the heads and key business professionals of the Strategy Department and some funds.
The instructions and requirements from the leadership and the Strategy Department of the China Resources Group for strengthening the construction of the research and investment system were highlighted and explained at the meeting. Success stories and best practices from companies that serve as industry benchmarks were also shared. The participants conducted a thorough discussion based on the fund business performance of CR Captial Management and the principle of "no investment without no strategy or research." They reviewed and discussed research findings and deficiencies in the fund industry and how to conduct a "post-assessment" of industry research. They analyzed the strategic and synergistic value of previous investments in China Resources Group and discussed how to optimize the investment strategy. Additionally, they discussed how the front and middle office teams could work together to build an integrated research and investment mechanism. Our colleagues expressed their views on the discussion topics and put forward many valuable work ideas and suggestions.

Tony concluded the meeting with a closing speech, thanking all the participants for their valuable contributions and insights. Tony also stressed that we were at a critical stage in our mid-term strategy review. Therefore, our business teams and relevant middle and back office departments should be fully aware of the role of political factors in strategy development and implementation. We should remain focused on China Resources Group's strategic needs and work hard to meet our management's expectations. A shared understanding and the courage to confront challenges head-on are key to the success of our mid-term strategy review.
