SHE Care | CR Capital Mgmt Holds a Female Employee Workshop to Empower Women in the Workplace
Released:2023-04-21

Our union and related departments and associations organized a workshop for our female employees to develop a more cohesive and contented female workforce. The event was set up with satellite venues in Hong Kong and Beijing to reach a wider audience and offer diverse perspectives. It featured four sessions: an informative lecture on women's rights, a campaign to raise awareness and understanding of our employee care system, a recommended reading list of books on women's topics, and the unveiling of our inspiring SHE Program.

To protect the rights and interests of our female employees, Zhu Qiaomei, a lawyer from the Legal and Compliance Department, introduced the recently revised Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests. By sharing specific cases and offering legal insights and practical strategies for preventing workplace harassment, Ms. Zhu empowered our female employees to be more proactive in protecting their rights.

To ensure that our female employees feel valued and supported, Yuan Huijuan, Deputy General Manager of the Human Resources Department, shared details about China Resources Group's Run Xin Fang employee care platform and other support channels, such as the Emotional & Spiritual Care Hotline service. Ms. Yuan also introduced our Runxin Ambassadors, who provide extensive support and care for our female employees.

Li Ying, our book club secretary, hosted an Aroma of Roses and Literature book-sharing event to facilitate our female staff's personal and professional development. Our female colleagues enthusiastically shared their favorite books on female-centric topics and discussed their personal growth stories. They talked about how these books provided them with profound insights and motivation to help them tackle the challenges on their path to success.

Wang Qirui from the Mass Work Department provided details of our union's annual SHE Program, which focuses on caring for our female employees. Ms. Wang also outlined a range of activities to care for our female employees, such as a photography exhibition showcasing their unique qualities and talents.

As the event drew to a close, our female colleagues voiced their thoughts and suggestions on our efforts to support and care for them. Our Deputy General Manager, Nie Rong, praised our female colleagues for their utmost professionalism and remarkable wisdom in her closing speech at the event. Ms. Nie also expressed her gratitude to them for showing the beauty of life to everyone by demonstrating excellent teamspirit and dedication.

Our next step will be to thoroughly clarify and summarize the opinions and needs raised by our female employees during the workshop. We will continue to support and care for our female colleagues to increase their satisfaction and fulfillment. We will always help them to progress and succeed.
