Mr. Carl Qin, general manager of CR Capital Management, made an opening speech online. He said that the theme forum held in Runnovation actively

responded to the strategic policies of the state and CR Group in the Greater Bay Area, especially in Hong Kong, and combined with the strong industrial background of CR Group and the leading position of central SOEs in Hong Kong, it gave full play to the advantages of CR Capital Management in investment circles and capital operation at home and abroad, facilitating Hong Kong's technology innovation, youth development and acceleration of the Group's upgrading and transformation. This Forum aims to find more talents with a genuine knowledge of technology innovation, a good understanding of Hong Kong, an international vision and a sense of the bigger picture, so as to inspire more people to think and drive more behaviors beneficial for the society.

In his speech, Dr. Zhong, deputy director of the Innovation and Technology Bureau, made a multi-dimensional interpretation and introduction to the development status of the technology innovation sector in the northern

metropolitan area. In terms of preferential policies, Dr. Chung introduced the technology innovation support programs of the Innovation and Technology Bureau in various aspects. The government will continue creating an entrepreneurial environment more favorable to young people, e.g. provision of preferential housing and taxation. Dr. Chung also called on all walks of life to jointly create a good entrepreneurial atmosphere and give young people more room to play.

Dr. Stella Kwan, chief enterprise development officer of the Cyberport, expressed her views on the focus of Hong Kong's technology innovation and Cyberport's future development. She stressed that Cyberport would not only look at the international market, but also actively integrate into the construction of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to truly become a participant in the domestic cycle. Mr. Choi Tat Man also believed that Cyberport's development planning for internal and external markets coincided with CR's strategic planning. How to give better play to Hong Kong's own advantages and integrate and complement the resources from mainland and abroad in terms of markets and products is a topic that CR Group has been thinking about and putting into practice. Finally, Dr. Stella Kwan pointed out that only by attracting talents and constantly embracing new ideas can Hong Kong create a benign competitive environment so that sparks of more creative ideas can be made.

Mr. Wong Yin Man, investment director of Hong Kong Science Park, said that in order to maintain the vitality of R&D in Hong Kong, the Science Park will provide a variety of services including laboratory, commercial application and incubation investment. At the same time, it will gather cutting-edge talents from Hong Kong and abroad through the Inno HK program to facilitate implementation of its R&D products. In addition, the Innovation Park launched by the Science Park aims to promote "innovative manufacturing" and realize the vision of "re-industrialization", which will lead to unlimited opportunities for technology innovation.

Tracey Lam, founder of AQUA GREEN, a representative of start-ups in Hong Kong, shared her experience in entrepreneurship. She pointed out that modern young people are under great pressure to start their own technology businesses. To alleviate such concerns, it is necessary to give adequate marketing support along with entrepreneurial guidance to help start-ups form relatively fixed cash flow, and provide sufficient funds to attract like-minded professionals to join the team to reach new heights.

After the discussion, there was a Q&A session for the Forum, in which the on-site guests answered questions from the audience on the youth development direction and the current incubation programs.
