From October 27 to 30, 2021, CR Capital Management and its subsidiary Runnovation were invited to participate in the International ICT Expo offline at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. This was the first time when Runnovation was unveiled in the International ICT Expo.
The Hong Kong International ICT Expo is a leading IT exhibition event in Asia. This Expo, together with the on-line exhibition, lasted for 11 days. It was hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and co-organized by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, Ministry of
Science&Technology and the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, Hong Kong SAR Government. It gathered nearly 1700 well-known exhibitors from 17 countries and regions, displaying smart city related technologies and IT solutions.
On October 29, the launching ceremony of Emission Reduction and Energy Saving, "Carbon Efficiency and Sustainable Development - Practices in the Real Estate Industry" B4B Big Data Application Challenge And the "Carbon and Data Commodity Forum" was successfully held in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The Forum aimed at supporting the national carbon peak and carbon neutrality policies and the Hong Kong government's work in the field of information technology.
Mr. Choi Tat Man, head of Runnovation, was invited to deliver a speech at this Forum to share with you how to promote energy efficiency and innovation of traditional enterprises through PE/VC investment. The speech is themed on the need for enterprises to always focus on the opportunities generated in the post-pandemic era. Zero carbon, digitization, consumer goods, biotechnology and cyber security are all investment themes in the post-pandemic era. CR Capital Management has also made particular contributions to carbon emissions, such as the successful acquisition of a leading waste-to-energy company in the UK with its partners in 2020, the Dudgeon offshore wind power project invested in the UK with CR Power in 2017, and the recent cases in progress, including the green and sustainable development loan.
As a technology innovation platform established by CR Capital Management in Hong Kong, Runnovation has set up a special booth in No.1 Hall of the Convention and Exhibition Center to display the company's main business by means of brochures, multimedia, etc. With favorable opportunity of this exhibition, Runnovation actively publicized its concept and unique supporting facilities, communicated with different exhibitors and enterprises, and discussed the development opportunities of business cooperation, hoping to provide such professional services as financing, business cooperation, operational and strategic suggestions, and training for the consulting start-ups with intention to cooperate, and showed the glamor of CR Capital Management and Runnovation, its subsidiary, with a new look.
During this period, an endless stream of people came to the booth for consultation, and the staff there enthusiastically introduced relevant businesses to the visitors.
