On September 23, the sixth (summer) Investment and Development Forum of Central SOEs hosted by the Investment Association of Central SOEs was held in Beijing. Nearly 100 member units from the Investment Association of Central SOEs and some executives and investment department heads from local state-owned enterprises attended the meeting. At the meeting, the list of excellent investment cases and award-winning teams of central SOEs in 2020 was also issued. Established in January 2016 and with central SOEs and local state-owned enterprises as the main participants, the Investment Association of Central SOEs, by means of summit forums, investment cooperation, regular project roadshows, etc., promotes the strengthening, optimization and expansion of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises in the reform and development, and promotes the layout optimization, structural adjustment and strategic reorganization of the state-owned economy. The Investment and Development Forum of Central SOEs is one of the important annual activities of the Investment Association of Central SOEs. As a platform to promote exchanges and communication among central SOEs and between central SOEs and local governments, the Forum has effectively promoted the active participation of central SOEs and state-owned enterprises in local interconnection and cooperation in such fields as industry, scientific and technology innovation and financial capital.
