CR Capital and China Council for Brand Development Launched "Fund of Funds for International Brand Development"

On May 8, 2021, the Second Session of the Second China Brand Building Joint Conference & the Inaugural Meeting of the International Alliance of Advantageous Cluster Brands was held in Shanghai International Convention Center. The conference was guided by Xinhua News Agency, China Council for Brand Development, SASAC News Center and China Appraisal Society, sponsored by National Brand Project Office Of Xinhua News Agency, News and Information Center of Xinhua News Agency, China Economic Information Service, Xinhua Net and China Financial Information Center, and organized by China National Brand. The meeting also held the inauguration ceremony of the International Alliance of Advantageous Cluster Brands and the cooperation signing ceremony of Fund of Funds =for International Brand Development.

In the signing ceremony of the International Brand Development Fund, Wu Wei, President of China National Brand, and Carl Qin, General Manager of CR Capital, signed on the stage. Li Fuli, Vice General Manager and Chief Accountant of CR Group, and Chairman of CR Capital witnessed the signing ceremony together with Liu Pingjun, Chairman of China Council for Brand Development, Chairman of International Alliance of Advantageous Cluster Brands, distinguished expert in the talent pool for participating in the administration and discussion of state affairs of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and former Deputy Director of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China.

Fund of Funds for International Brand Development

The "Fund of Funds for International Brand Development" is managed by CR Capital, and the fund is set up in three phases, with the initial scale of 10 billion yuan and the total scale of the three phases being 50 billion yuan. The Fund focuses on investing in Chinese brands under the revival of time-honored brands, consumption upgrade, digital transformation, and the Guochao background, aiming to support the transformation and upgrading of China time-honored brands and high-quality enterprises with brand value through the layout and investment operation of the equity fund of funds, promote the reform and innovative development of time-honored brands, create characteristic Guochao Brands, and promote Chinese global brands, consumption upgrade brands, technology innovation brands, modern agricultural brands, and healthcare brands to embark on the development path of becoming bigger and stronger, and to be the promoter of Chinese brands for a century.

President Liu Pingjun had high expectations for the launch of "Fund of Funds for International Brand Development". He emphasized the important instruction of "Three Changes" made by the General Secretary, which pointed out the direction, target, task and path for building Chinese brand and developing brand economy. The cooperation with CR Capital to set up the "Fund of Funds for International Brand Development" was to vigorously cultivate a large number of well-known, top-notch Chinese brands, promote Chinese brands to the world, and establish a new image of Chinese brands.

The establishment of the "Fund of Funds for International Brand Development" was the starting point of mutual trust and close cooperation between the two parties. Information about China Council for Brand Development and China National Brand

China Council for Brand Development (CCBD) is the only national social organization engaged in branding work, which is jointly sponsored by the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the PRC (now the State Administration for Market Regulation), the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and CCTV, and approved by the State Council and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It is subordinate to the State Administration for Market Regulation. China is the founding country of the "Theory of Brand Value Development". In 2013, CCBD was the first to propose the "Theory of Brand Value Development" with the five elements of "Quality, Service, Technological Innovation, Intangible Elements and Tangible Elements" as the evaluation index, which has been recognized and supported by countries all over the world. At present, China has promulgated 38 national standards for brand evaluation, and another 16 national standards have been officially established. CCBD has carried out the information release for public welfare of brand value evaluation for seven years in a row in accordance with national standards, which is fully affirmed and recognized by the society. China National Brand is a national website sponsored by CCBD, which is the authoritative information publishing platform in the field of brand in China.
